lyrics

Summer's here and this house is a balloon,
some island I fear, some faraway corner of a room,
some blind bridge between two empty bellies,
someone to love and hate, someone beyond luck and mistakes.
Isn't this great- all the muscle it must take
to validate your pain,
like digging up worms.

Summer's here and this house is a balloon,
some island I fear, some faraway corner of a room.
This effort to be alive, some common goal,
some common drive, driving round and round
late at night.
Nice, isn't this nice-
some comfort in blindness,
some kind of kindred hate,
we'll all be extinct- and I'm digging up worms,
plowing flat earth.

Last night I went on a walk
to free my self from myself
and every step in the dark
just led from where to where else.
This glorified center of the world,
and some overstated math says
good good good
good good good
good good good
good good good
good.

I just want to tell you that I love you
the way that all the clouds tell me its cloudy
the same way all the rain tells me its wet
just like how the bloom tells me its spring,
it may be May again
and again.
